D.C. LEARNs is now accepting proposals from organizations that would like to sponsor full-time Literacy*AmeriCorps Members from August 2010 to July 2011.
Community organizations that provide instructional services to adults can apply to host up to two Literacy*AmeriCorps members to serve as full-time adult education instructors at their sites.
