Book Donations/Drives

D.C. LEARNs book drives and book donation efforts, with partners such as Verizon, Starbucks, and Scholastic, provide D.C. LEARNs members with new and gently used books to distribute to parents and children throughout the city.

The kids all grown up? Moving soon? Minimizing? Whatever the reason, if you have gently used books that you would like to donate to local literacy-based organizations in the District, please contact the groups on the list below. These member organizations of D.C. LEARNs are currently able to accept donations from community members. You may contact them directly, or contact us if you would prefer to distribute the books among all our members. If you have any questions, or are interested in partnering with us for a book drive, please contact donations@dclearns.org.
